Tatyana Khazanova, OTR/L, CHT has over 10 years of hands on and leadership experience treating upper extremity injuries, in private, and hospital setting, including NYU orthopedic. She has completed extensive education and certification to become one of the few certified hand specialists. Currently Tatyana specializes in trauma, chronic, and post-surgical treatment:
Custom splint fabrication for protection, support, functional correction and prevention of deformities.
Hands on experience of various manual techniques, including kinesio tape
Tendon and nerve repair
Chronic soft tissue damage including tendinosis, tenodesis, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s contracture, and repetitive stress injury
Fractures/ORIF
SLAC wrist, and TFCC injury
Osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis
Sprains and strains
Rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, and labrum tears
Joint replacement, and fusion
